Scoop up some fun on the Fourth!
Cool off before the 4rth of July Fireworks in Petoskey this Friday with a good old-fashioned Ice Cream Social, hosted by the Historical Society. The event begins at 7pm at the Depot Museum with all proceeds benefitting the historical society.

Classics on Wheels and in the Water!
The South Arm Classic Boat Show takes place in East Jordan on Saturday, July 5th at the City Marina Docks….and on the same day, there is also a Classic Car Show on Main Street Downtown. Both events run from 10am to 4pm.

Kids getting Antsy? Take 'em to the Kalkaska County Library!

Glen Lake Art Fair
The Glen Lake Women’s Club is hosting an Art Fair at the Glen Arbor Town Hall from 10am to 4pm on Wednesday July 16th. The fair will feature over 90 exhibitors, and all proceeds will go towards scholarships for students at Glen Lake School. There will also be raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and the ever popular “Tag Sale”.

July 30 10:30-11:30 Ventriloquist Vikki Gasko & puppets perform. Grand Prize drawings afterward.

Summer Band Camp at the TC Civic Center
The Grand Traverse County Parks & Recreation department has teamed up with area music instructors to offer the 1st ever summer music camp at the Grand Traverse Civic Center. “Summer Band” is a rock & roll youth orchestra program open to all ages. The 5 week session runs wed. & fri mornings 10am to noon July 16th through August 15th. Call the Civic Center at 231-922-4848m for more info and to reserve your spot!
